I understand that the Einstein is great with flash duration, but I'm not sure what is required to stop the motion of dancers jumping and such. Will it be fast enough?

Also, I plan on using them to shoot portraits in my home. I've got a 10' x 10' area to shoot in... will they be too powerful for that? I plan to have 2 on high key background, 1 key, 1 fill, 1 hair. Seems like a lot to pack into one little space, but this is New York... I really miss my Texas home.

The speed will vary from dancer to dancer and move to move, is it calm ballet or is it faster b-boy type dancing. The body of the dancer will likely be sharp, but the hands and feet can blur more easily. 1/1000 is a good place to start, and the Einsteins will achieve that fairly quickly as you dial down. They will be faster than most other studio lights (and you will pay a premium for any other that will go faster). As for too much power, Einstein will go lower than any of our current lights, so you will be fine there as well.
