Hello,

Is there a pyrex dome that can be attached to either the AlienBee or White Lightning units? I see the Einstein unit has it, but that's a bit out of my price range. I understand I may have to remove the modeling lamp to do so. I shoot with speedlights and am moving over to monolights and need the xenon flash tube to be covered in the rare event that it shatters or explodes.

Thanks!

-Ryan

There is no dome for the WhiteLightning or AlienBee lights. The one for the Einstein would not fit as the outer diameter of the WL and AB lights is larger and too big to fit within the dome. Additionally, there is no means with which to retain the dome to the lights.

Not knowing exactly your use case, other users will use a Plexiglass sheet attached to a reflector for this purpose, generally in arena installs.
