Ok, does anyone else have an issue with assembling the Moon Unit? I got it figured out, but it took forever! I know it says "easy to assemble" in the information for it, but I didn't think it was really that easy. I REALLLLLLLY wish that Paul C. Buff would make a new moon unit that has a foldable design similar to the other softboxes. If they did make one I would buy it in a heartbeat! I love how lightweight the moon unit is and I love my ring flash, I just really wish it was foldable so you didn't have to mess with the little sticks everytime. I've just left mine assembled and carry it around like that so I don't have to mess with them. But is anyone else with me that they should redesign it? :)

The Moon Unit assembles very much like standard octaboxes. A folding mechanism like in our foldable softboxes would get in the way of the lens opening in ring flash.

Other foldable mechanisms may be possible, but such mechanisms will add considerably to the overall weight and cost of the ringflash and MoonUnit.

Yes big time. The instructions and illustrations are very unclear. I can't tell if the reflector is supposed to be install with the diffuser in place or without the diffuser. It doesn't seem to fit. Instructions are not clear. Too much time spent trying to put this together

Which version of the Moon Unit? 30" or 56"? And if the 56", which fabric are you using?

While they are very similar, there are some differences.
