Those are typically the least likely to cause problems.

If it was power chain related, the Vagabonds are a clean power source. I have yet to come across an instance where a Vagabond was the limiting factor in getting the remotes to work.

Also, everything you try, do one at a time. This way you can determine what is the actual cause for future reference.
