Most or all of these will have been shot with grids. Some are probably with our lights, some not, but grids have the same basic effect regardless of brand. The shots with a distinct circle of light on the background likey had grids (at least, that is the effect a grid will give you).

Sorry, no.

However, the background is a good example of what grids will do. Which size grid used is impossible to say, as a 10 degree grid could do it if the light was off to camera left (the bottom left side is more intense, indicating direction or a 40 degree will do it if placed just behind the subject. Again, power intensities would vary in those examples, and not in direct correlation to the inverse square law (since a 10 degree grid has more material blocking the light than the 40 degree, the light intensity loss is not dictated soley by distance as it would be with a regular reflector). I would guess not far out of frame, due to the almost circular nature of the spot. The further off axis, the longer the spot gets.

The light coming from camera left and hitting her is probably gridded. I would guess (and its only a guess) maybe a gridded beauty dish.

Another gridded light to camera right and behind her for a kicker.

And a gridded high fill (there are shadows on the camera side of her legs that do not appear on her face).

On low budget and use temporary until moolah builds up and I saw this good deal on a 48 inch Fotodiox Pro Octagon Softbox

Anyone have any good experience with it and alien bee lights? Would it be good for dogs? I would like have good soft box and umbrella at home and want use fotodioxr for traveling and abuse it for dogs. Knowing I still have good stuff at home and it's not ruined.

Dont trust pets actually I like take pics of birds and want use non expensive soft boxes for outdoor uses.. Am I making any sense?

Hope ya don't take any offense me posting other product. It's just that $$ for now

Take a look at the PLM comaprison photos, especially the white. The color shifts found in the copied versions come from cheap fabric. I have a feeling (but cannot say for certain) the brands you are looking at exhibit the same characteristic.
