Hello,

So, I stopped using the cybersync system after our issues posted here. But, I just acquired an Einstein so I want to use it once again. It appears, upon reviewing our thread, that I was probably misunderstanding you. For that I apologize. I had the same issue today and then turning off the modeling light at the head and on via CC seemed to do the trick. I was just testing so hopefully this will hold true.

I did go back to the manual just now and I don't see any information on the order of operations for attaching the RJ11 cord. So, the RJ 11 should be the last item to happen (power is on all around?). I don't like plugging things into live devices so I just want to clarify.

VML is ON
AB800 is ON
then RJ 11 goes in?

or VML is ON
RJ 11 goes IN
AB800 is ON

Thanks

This one, ideally. However, if you connect in any order and get the red Dump light, you can usually go to the ALL channel setting, and fire from there. This kind of "kickstarts" the system. However, there will may be some cases you will need to remove and reinsert the RJ11.

There is no harm in plugging or unplugging this stuff live.
