I was being a bit overly cautious in our discussion. Afterwards, I double checked, and the files which remain after a proper update are harmless should you wander into menu options and trigger another update. You don't need the firmware file after the update, so no harm either way.

Yes, one should reload the update to the card between Cyber Commanders (and between Einsteins).

btw, the cyber commander and E640's are such a great combo. Thanks for the great gear!
