Bump! I was going to post a new thread but I searched and found this one... Just wanted to add my vote for an Einstein ringflash. For me, a ringflash with the color consistency and the power range of the Einstein would be a must-buy. I would primarily use it as a fill light, so having something that can go 1-3 stops lower than what my other lights are at is important and the main thing holding me back from the ABR800. I have a Rayflash that I can use with an on camera SB900, but that's often not *enough* power and of course its not even close in light quality to an ABR with the moon unit for use as fill (or main for that matter). And again, color consistency and flash duration, integration with the CC... all the reasons I went with the Einstein over the AB1600 or X1600 apply here.

So, any chance of this happening, or have we hoped in vain?

I can't snap my fingers and make products appear. You're talking six to 12 months of development time.

I totally appreciate that, I was just wondering if it's something you're working on/are considering/would consider or something that is totally off the table. Not trying to be demanding at all. You're doing a great job, I have no complaints. Just trying to explain why I think such a product would be worthwhile.

Sign me up for an Einstein Ringlight.

Yup, as a future product, how cool would a hand-holdable Einstein Ringlight paired with a Vagabond Mini be!? :D
