if the channel went gray on the CC, that means the channel went to stand by for some reason. go into SET UP>LIGHT SETTINGS> [select the channel in question]> scroll down to Power and set from "standby" to "on".

That was the trick. Somehow I missed the individual settings for each light, and when first out of the box I must have modified this setting for that single channel. Now it works wonderfully! 8-) Thanks!
