I sent in My 2 1600 Alien Bees and 2 CSRB Wireless Remotes in the middle of AUGUST cause CUSTOMER SERVICE told me the V2 would be shipped out by the end of AUGUST first week of SEPTEMBER, here I am waiting middle and close to the end of SEPTEMBER, still but I have to hand it to Mr. Paul's CUSTOMER SERVICE they reshipped back My two 1600 and remotes and said they would even PAY shipping back how COOL is that.....I am still ANXIOUS and can't wait to get my 2 Einsteins and 2 csrx remotes....I have a PHOTO SHOOT EVENT this weekend this is why I called The Company and I was AMAZED by their CUSTOMER SERVICE since day one that I started doing business with Paul C. Buff.....one word AWESOME! :D

Paul - Did V2 production begin this week like you were promised?

Yeah, I've been waiting for a long time too. I pre-ordered last year I think... or early this year.... I was told that they would be shipping the v2 the end of August, and here we are pushing October. I've bought PCB modifiers, but I have nothing to which to use them.

What is a realistic time that we may expect them to ship? If it's two more months, I'd just like to know, rather than being told next week, and then the date slips yet again.

These will be my first studio strobes. I ordered 4 Einsteins and I'm totally stoked to get them. When Paul.... when???????

I called today and they said 2 weeks before I'll see them... :(

I was in the 1200's on preorder and decided to wait it out until v2... so I've been on hold since.

Wow, lucky you. Only 2 weeks left.
I placed my order in late July, so I'm guessing I'll get mine sometime in mid to late November if not December.

Let's hope it's not December. I emailed customer service and they told me they plan to have caught up on all preorders and backorders in 4-6 weeks, which puts us into the first part of November at the latest. I'm planning of 5-6 weeks since I ordered the first week of September. If they get here before that it'll just be a pleasant surprise. This is my first PCB purchase, so I have no reason to love or hate them, but I'd bet they are trying to push these out the door as fast as they can safely do so. There is just too much at stake for both their reputation and pocket books to not do so. I can't imagine waiting 8 or 9 months like many people have. I'd have cancelled my order and bought something I could actually have in hand, so the fact that they have do many people waiting means they either have a really great product or they've tapped into some zealot loyalist customer base.
