Paul, you must be really tough on these guys! Keep up the good work, and don't kill anyone, I can wait a couple weeks longer for my lights if needed!

Thanks for the update Paul. Sounds very good! As for the price, I have to be honest I was surprised how low it is considering how advanced they are and way ahead of the competition.

Pre orders begin this week. Our best estimate of first shipping is the end of January. I am working with a real Einstein, tweaking and refining firmware. Sorry for the delay but it's been tough with the holidays and fixing little bugs and pc board layout goofs. (I didn't do the layout!!) It's working fantastic - as advertised.

Any update on when the Einsten is expected to ship?
it is well past January now and I still see pre-order????
I have a friend who want advice on Bees to buy, so this info is important.

Sorry, read the previous page and don't really understand.
Can you please sum it up for me and tell me when the units will actually start shipping.
I don't mind a schedule slipping, even by months and months.
Coming from the software world, I have had a lot of experience with airware and don't really believe in something till I see that someone else has it in their hands and can do a test review.

The production schedule is pretty much on target. We are receiving the first run of 100 board assemblies today I believe and the next 1000 are in progress, as are the next 4000. We have to assemble into housings and do in house testing and burn in and expect to begin shipping at the end of the week.

That is all the information we have, posted last Thursday April 1.

Paul refers to "the end of the week" for shipping to start, which technically is Good Friday.
I suspect he made a typo, and will be assembling them the week commencing Tuesday 6th (Monday being Easter Monday) and shipping by Friday 9th April.

Very Cool! - I am looking forward to reading what the first recipients have to say about the new unit. Thanks for the quick replys. :)

We will start shipping on Monday April 5. Can't say how many yet. I work at home and can't manage every detail.

I'm not going to get mine for a while, probably, but when I and the rest of us do get our Einsteins , especially the early recipients, is there anything we can do in terms of feedback (besides Works Great!) that will be helpful to PCB in evaluating the product?
