Yes, it's PWs product but it will be sold exclusively through PCB. Paul knows more than he's tellin' ... ;)

I'm telling all I know. Been a bit busy with Einstein, Cyber Commander and Vagabond Mini and haven't really been that involved with MC2 . . . Jim Clark (LPA) did all the MC2 work, while David (Tech here) knows far more than I about the workings of MC2. Rob Galbraith is very familiar with it too.

Wait, so in order to control one einstein strobe unit from your camera one would need a miniTT1 or FlexTT5, power MC2 AND an AC3 zone controller?

Yes, MiniTT1 or FlexTT5 on camera with the AC3 piggy backing. It should control the PowerMC2, a FlexTT5 with a compatible Speedlite, and an Alien Bees with a FlexTT5+AC9.

For one light, you can use the camera's flash EV controls (this may be brand or model dependant). This means the AC3 is not necessary. However, any more than that would require the AC3.

Hi Mr Buff or Mr TS

I have a couple of Einstein's which I love however unfortunately I am one of those you already has a number of PW units.

Quick question for you..Being in Australia my PW use (Europe, India, China, and other countries = 433.62 - 434.22 MHz CE) frequency. Will the MC-2 also ship in this flavor? If so when will it be available? If so will it be the Australian Paul C Buff site I order it from?

Thanks

Andy

I'll let TECH comment further on this. We just received USA MC2 modules and will be shipping very soon. I know LPA has EU frequency versions in the works, but I don't have projected dates.

Can't wait. These are the last piece I need to complete my system.

I'm thinking of using MC2's on all my Einsteins and my mini as a transmitter. Will this work?

Yes, any Pocket Wizard transmitting device can trigger the MC2 recievers. This assumes you have frequency compatabile devices (there are seperate versions for FCC and EU usage. If purchased new in the US, you likely have the FCC version, so there should be no conflict).
