I've decided to buy a Cybersync transmitter and receivers to use in conjunction with the Mini on remote shoots. Would AC or battery powered receivers be a better choice? That is, assuming the power requirements are minimal, can they be supplied by the lithium mini without significant loss of capacitor recharge capability? Considering that this equipment will be used outdoors in winter weather, what are the advantages and disadvantages of the AC and battery Cybersync options assuming availability of a vagabond lithium mini? Once I get the answer, I will place my order. I apologize if this question has been asked and answered, but I am having difficulty with the search feature of this forum. |

There is not a significant power loss in using the AC versions of the recievers. The fact that lithium batteries work better in cold environments is a plus, but you can always use lithium AA's in your battery recievers. The AC recievers let you forego needing a set of batteries if you desire, otherwise there is not a huge difference. |

wouldn't it make more sense to go with the AC powered ones since you can use batteries as well...this way if you run out of the battery power you could just plug them in?... or am I confused by what he said...lol...I thought the AC powered ones do both...my bad I think i'm wrong... :ugeek: |

The AC powered recievers only run on AC power, and the battery powered ones run on AA batteries. |
