Congrats for rolling out the Vagabond Minis and good luck in using them for the shooters.

The PCB website states:

"Like essentially all battery/inverter type supplies, modeling lamps are not generally used because their power draw would quickly deplete the battery and slow recycle times dramatically."

Will a fully charged 1x VML support 2x EINSTEINs 250W-modeling-lamps-operation for a few minutes in total? And continue 2x 80 flashes at appr. 60% power?

Thanks.

Page 2 of the manual "The Warnings!" states "The Vagabond Mini Lithium cannot power a 250W modeling lamp at full power" - and goes on to mention that they are in the process of acquiring a special 50W lamp that could be used for brief periods.

The VML inverter is rated at around 130 watts continuous output. Two x 250 watt modeling lamps are going to be pulling around 500 watts continuous so you are limited not just by how fast you'll deplete the battery but also by the output capacity of the inverter.

Hello PowerEngineer,

where did you get the "130 watts continuous output"-info from?

Thanks clearing this up.

It is actually a 120 continuous Watt inverter.

Thanks for the clarification TS.

@Watt... I remembered it from some posts on this forum a while back.
