Two VML's were delivered today, and the plastic cases on both units were open when I removed them from the packaging. There is nothing to suggest that they were mishandled by UPS. The cases popped back together, and hopefully they will stay that way so that we don't need another "rubber band" fix :) I don't know how these units are assembled and packed, but it appears that the process needs to be improved. |

That is currently being addressed. If you have any further issues from those batteries, please let us know! |

To clarify, the battery housings are what is being discussed. These "snap" together, and the design of a mold with snaps is always iffy. Apparently, the snap force is insufficient, so we started gluing them together today. Blame me for this one. |

If it pops loose again, can I put a few drops of epoxy on there without voiding the warranty? |

We don't void warranties for things like this. A few drops of Super Glue is probably the easiest and cleanest way. |

Same story here, but that's good to know about the warranties! Thanks Paul. |

We are very liberal with our warranty policies and never pull a gotcha' on customers, even for accidental tip-overs and such. Now if you drive a tractor over a unit and want it replaced free you'll probably meet some resistance. |
