The unit sometimes work, sometimes it won't charge (green LED won't light up) and when triggered, produces a ping sound and a very dim flash (possibly the trigger flash). If I keep pushing the test button, once in a while the green light would light up and it would fire.

Since the green light doesn't come on, it implies the capacitors are not charging. Does anyone have a schematic -- at least the circuit related to charging the capacitors? If it looks simple I may try to diagnose it myself. If it looks complicated I may send it in for repair (I think it's $50).

We do not offer schematics for our products, however, repairs are generally $50 on White Lightning units, so we strongly urge you to send it in for service rather than attempting it yourself.
