Cyber Commander with v.32 firmware (s/n 003301)

When I depress the CC metering button it triggers the studio light, but then frequently reboots itself, and gives an erroneous reading (<f/1). This happens most of the time.

I've set the screen brightness to 45% as this did prevent "other" non-desired reboots; however, this issue with the metering button makes it useless for me.

Does anyone know a fix for this? Thanks in advance.

Best,
Stephen

The unit can be sent in for an update under warranty. 40% has always prevented the reboot in my experience, however, raising it even higher than 45% may be necessary for it to work until it comes in. Once it has been sent in, it should not reboot at any screen brightness.

TS: It looks like this customer already installed the latest firmware, so please explain what is meant by "update".

A hardware tweak. v.32 firmware does not address rebooting.
