My Vagabond II inverter is shutting down after about 45 minutes to 1 hour of use. The LED indicates it is on, but no voltage. If I turn it off for a minute, then back on, it comes back up without issues and has plenty of battery to finish a shoot. I don't believe it is low battery because it seems to run fine after it has been reset. I don't believe it is heat, because I am not giving it time to cool down before I restart it. It could be GFI related but I don't know how to check for that. Is there any way to tell why this is happening (last 4 times out), or should I just send it in for repair?

This does sound like a GFCI problem, either directly or indirectly. If the battery is acting fine, then just the inverter can be sent in for service. Be sure to fully charge the battery before sending in the inverter to avoid any sulfation.
