Hello, I have the White Lightning x3200, and the modeling lamp is no longer working. I've had this for a little over a year with very minimal use. I'm looking to get a replacement for it. Will this be compatible with my monolight? Looking to save some money. http://www.amazon.com/CowboyStudio-Mode ... 947&sr=8-1 Any help is appreciated. |

That bulb should be fine. Before you buy a bulb, however, first make sure the model lamp switch is in the "ON" position (pushed in). If the light is not working, unplug the whole unit, let it stand for about 15 minutes and remove the model lamp. At the base of the socket, there is a small metal tab. Pull this forward and reinstall the lamp, plug the unit in and see if the bulb works. Also, try a regular household bulb or another bulb from one of our lights to ensure the socket is working properly. |

$13? Yow! Frosted double envelope E26 halogens aren't that rare. I use plain old BulbRite Q250FR/EDT. If I want just one in a hurry, they cost me $8 at my local electrical supply Brose Electric. I relamped all my old Ultras, and needed a bunch, so I got them for $4.64 each, buying a 10 pack, at 1000bulbs.com. |

So I've determined that the modeling lamp is defective. Joseph, I will go order the BulbRite Q250FR/EDT as you've suggested on the website. |
