How or what is the process to recharge the Mini Vag in the car?

Searched on the forum here but did not find a solution.

We have no car charger yet. The best solution would be a small 150W quasi sine inverter from Walmart, etc, with the VML charger plugged into it. The VML charger AC input shouldn't require a pure sine inverter.

Considering that 1) the VML can be powered by an external battery, 2) the batteries can be recharged directly from the charger without being in the VML, and 3) the VML itself is an inverter, could you not connect the VML directly to your car battery (through a cigarette lighter adapter & some anderson connectors), then plug the charger into the VML itself, then hook the VML battery up to the charger? Just a thought... maybe a bit of a hack but the cigarette lighter adapters are pretty darn cheap and it seems like a waste to buy another inverter when you've already got one.

I guess it does depend on how much current the charger draws, though.

Obviously not a solution for everybody... but what about using a VBII or VCA if you already own them? I don't have the specs handy to check the power ratings.

The VCA will not charge the mini, however the VII can. Not efficient, but it can.

Picked one up today, a Black & Decker unit - tested and works fine.

Thanks for the guidance.
