Has anyone out there experienced ramdom flash discharges from their Einstein/CyberCommander combination? I seem to be getting these random pops if the CyberCommander is on. I have had to take out the batteries and unplug the lights to stop the random pops. I have turned off the optical slave as well to remove that from the equation.

When this happens, is it occasional or is it a rapid fire (I.e. as fast as units recycle)?

Occasional most of the time. Only once has it done multiples as fast as it can recycle. That was a quick 5-6 second burst and then it stopped.

One of two possibilities. First, noise or bad wiring on an AC line can cause the lights to trigger on thier own. Typically, this is as fast as recycling allows, but not necessarily.

Also, rapid triggering may come from a CST with a low battery.
