Post subject: | METER TEST FOR SINGLE CHANNEL FLASHING MORE THAN ONE LIGHT? |
Ok, setup my 3 new Einsteins with my new CB this past weekend. All 3 lights are identified and most everything seems to be working as planned. All lights are set to Frequency 01 and each of the 3 lights has a unique channel, 01, 02 and 03. I have 3 distinct groups setup with group-01 using Channel 01 only, Group-02 using Channel 01 and 02 and Group-03 using Channel 01, 02 and 03. I decied to go through the metering tests for Group-03 using all 3 lights. I stood in front of the backdrop where the subject would be and pointed the dome on the CB at the camers. I switched to Channel 01 and flashed the meter and the Channel 01 light flashed with a reading. I then switched to channel 02 and flashed the meter and Channel 02 flashed with a meter reading, I then switched to Channel 03 and flashed the meter but for some reason, both Channel 02 and Channel 03 lights flashed? I then switched to Group-03 and flashed a meter reading and of course all 3 lights flashed and gave me a meter readong. BUT, each time I tried this test, whenever I switch to Channel 03 only, both Channel 02 AND Channel 03 lights flashed. Any ideas? Thanks...Keith |

I would first check the slave eye settings of each light. If one is on, set it to off via the Commander (if set via the light, it will revert back). |
