After 20 years of pretty reliable service, one of my GS1 "grid spots" decided that this would be a good time to fall apart. The honeycomb grid is clued to the frame with 4 globs of something that looks and feels a lot like RTV. Any recommendations on what to use to glue it back together for another 20 years of reliable service? (I'm not joking. My god daughter talks about wanting to be a photographer, this Buff stuff may well end up kicking around for a good half century).

I was thinking high temp RTV would be suitable to use for the reassembly. I was also thinking about putting screws through the corners of the grid, with decent sized washers to keep from crushing the grid. But then I have to use Locktite and everything...

There should be no reason RTV would not work.
