So I just unpacked my Einsteins and got them set up. I'm in India and taking advantage of the 220v feature. I Set two of the units on 64th power and did a series of test fires (5 flashes in a row). Great, everything work. But, less than a minute later, when I went to test them again, one of the two units has a red "ready" button and won't fire. The modeling lamp also does not come on.

I unplugged the unit, turned it off and on, tried the plug from the working unit, tried a new modeling lamp, tried a new flash tube, nothing worked.

Has this happened to anyone else? Any advice? Sending the unit back to the States for inspection would take two weeks each way.

- Thanks

I had the exact same problem, only solution was to send it back for a replacement.
I live in sweden so it was a bit of hassle for me to but it all worked out great.

If the red light will not turn green, then the unit will need to be serviced or replaced. Contact the distributor from whom you ordered the light to arrange this.
