Dear PCB - I have some "non digital" Novatron studio heads (currently powered with a 500watt and 1200 watt AC power packs, heads are Max 1000WS) I would like to be able to make these more portable, and usable in the field without AC power. I read your disclaimer that you can't certify use of the Vagabond Mini with 3rd party products, but I am wondering if there has been any feedback that this will work without damaging either set of equipment?

We have not heard any specific feedback on those strobes. The risk of damage would be minimal, if existant at all. The wosrt the Vagabond mini will do is go in to a brown out state when recycling. The flash pack should survive this, even if they do not work.
