Like to use the ringflash w 800 series light on outdoor locations but am leery of the Vagabond II batteries (heavy weight and constant battery charging. Why can't I use a Mini Lithium?

Did you read somewhere that you can't? I could be missing something but I think you can use a ABR800 and a B800 on a V-mini.

There is no reason you cannot use the ABR800 with the Vagabond Mini. We designed the Mini to operate with all of our lights.
