I've just started to learn the cyber commander and my 5 einsteins. My question deals with the ability to turn off individual lights from the cyber commander. From other posts, it seems that to turn off a particular light, I must choose that light from the normal flash screen, then go to the setup menu and choose 'light settings', and then set the power mode to 'standby'.

Is this the way to turn off a light so that it does not respond to any 'fire' commands? I guess I'm not sure of the definition of 'standby' mode.

On occasion, I want to turn off a specific light. It is not really a specific group, just a single light. How would you recommend turning off a single light in a normal workflow?

Thanks very much. Love the lights.
Don

You can:
a) turn it off via the LIGHT SETTINGS menu. This is good for the occasional elimination of one light
b) create a group that does not contain that light, then switch to that light when it is not needed. Good for when you will be switching that light on and off frequetly.
c) create a set up that has that light off, which would be accessed from OPEN MEMORY> OPEN FROM. Good for switching one lot of photos with the light to another lot of photos that would not have it.
