I have a 13' heavy duty light stand whose middle section is broken. It will not raise up, and it rotates freely. I have not used it more than a dozen times and it is always stored in a bag when not in use. I don't see any warran information on the website, but there is no way that I have done anything that would have caused this unit to break. Does anyone know anying about the warranty for this?

It has a 1 yr warranty. Even if it is out of warranty, call customer service, as they sometimes have spare parts. It is likely a missing shim and/or set screw for one of the collars.
