Post subject:  Einstein recycle time on Vagabond mini

Hi,

I've just received the Vagabond mini and so far I am very happy with them. However the recycle time on the Einstein at full power takes about 5.5 secs instead of the 3.6 secs quoted.

I've tested this on two Vagabond mini and 3 Einstens, the modelling light is turned off.

I am using the 240v version, don't know if this has a different performance.

PS. I love the new shipping caps, they save a lot more space!

Until the Vagabond mini warms, the 230V version will take a little longer to recycle 1 Einstein. However, if two lights are used, the recycle time will be less than twice that of one light. Once the unit warms, then the recycle times will become more to the advertised spec.

Informal testing I did with Einsteins and the Vagabond Mini and Vagabond II.
