Hello I currently own two x1600 and i'm looking to pick up used unit...Is there any way to determine the age (production) of a strobe with the serial numbers.

There is not a production date code incorporated into our serial numbers. However, you can call our repair department with those numbers, and they may be able to determine when it was shipped.
