Post subject:  PowerMC2 module and Einstein 640?

I been doing some testing and been really successful in freezing action.

Set up: Canon MrkII+Mini TTL+MC2+Steins.

My only issues are with:
(1) keeping the modeling lights on while I'm shooting? ( I have to keep setting it back to full mode, manually)
(2) Keeps resetting when i bracket my exposure? ( So, i have to keep setting it back to what ever wattage I'm using at the time of each exposure.

Any advice will be greatly appreciated it... :D

Q1 is definitely a setting in the TT1. The TT1 is in charge and will override any changes on the head, unless the function is removed from it. There should be a tab in the PW utility regarding model lamps. Again, this is the TT1, not MC2.

Q2 is probably also in the TT1, however, I am not fully understanding what you are doing. Resetting from what to what? Also, Are you auto bracketing in the camera? Please expound.

Also, you may have more directed help from Pocket Wizard directly. This is solely thier design, and they are the best source for help, especially when it comes to the products we do not offer.

Q1 I'll look into the TT1.

Q2 I'm manually setting everything, from lights, to exposure.
(When i have my desired exposure (My normal exposure) and lights were i want them (Ratio) I'm very happy with them. Then when i go and manual bracket my exposures, it changes my light ratio automatically. Why is this happening?)

Are you using multiple E640's? If so, do you have the AC3? If you have multiple E640's and only the TT1 and no AC3, then all lights will revert to the same settings (only one command given). Are you bracketing using flash exposure changes or aperture changes? If you are manually setting your light ratios and power settings at the lights, and bracketing via aperture, then set the TT1 and MC2 at a standard channel, not a CTL channel (this makes your TT1 a basic trigger at this point). If you want to remotely set ratios or set ratios and remotely bracket flash exposure, you will need an AC3.

If you have an AC3, then there is likely a setting in the TT1 that needs to be addressed.
