I know that the cybercommander can communicate with the einsteins however I'm wondering why the cybercommander doesn't include the 1/160 and 1/200 sync speed settings that would help outdoor photographers reduce the ambient lighting without introducing banding due to the camera sync limitations of 1/200. Nikon and canon's 1D series can sync at 1/250 comfortably but for the most part 1/200 is what I would use outdoors

will there be a firmware update for the cybercommander to address this?

thanks

Currently, full stop shutter speeds and ISO values are available on the CyberCommander. We have discussed the possibility of updating that to 1/3 stops, however, I cannot say if or when that will be available.

My Canon 7D and my Sekonic meter both give the option of adjusting every setting by half stops or 1/3 stops. For broadest market appeal it'd be nice if you could have the same options on the CC. It would also be nice if there was an option for the results of metering to be reported like that - f/10.0 instead of f/8.0'6 for example.

That being said, it's a great device as is.

I will also agree with this suggestion as it would make understanding and adjusting settings visually easier to understand. That way iso, shutter, and F stop readings would be standard between camera, light meter, and cybercommander.

hopefully pcb implements this. thanks for the feedback

If I have any complaint about the CC, this is it. Maybe its my 51 year old brain but I'm not a fan of converting 1/10th stops into 1/3... it would be great to add this.
