There are two possibilities that come to mind:
First, and most likely, is a reverse polarity issue between camera and transmitter. If this is the case, then you can resolve this by revesring the polarity for the cord. I do not know of a way to reverse foot polarity. To do this for the cord, there may be a ready made cord to do this (I had a light meter that came with one), or you can cut the CST cord, trim back the black insulation exposing a red and a white insulated wire (I believe these are the colors, if not, there will be two different colors). Trim back these insulations, and connect red to white, and white to red. Insulate these wires from each other.
The second possibility is the close time is too short for the CST. There is nothing that can be done in this case.
