Maybe I missed it, but the description of V39 only describes the V36 and previous updates, no indication of what's new in V39....

I updated to the newest firmware but I've noticed that there is some hot pixels that stay lit when you cycle from Internal 2 and Studio which didn't happen with the v.36. If i exit that screen and then go back into the Open Memory feature the white pixels disappear from the right side of the "2" It's more of a minor text bug then anything else.

The hot pixels go away if you exit into the menu

Have you guys considered adding the 1/3 stop increments for the light meter?

1/3 stops would be awesome...

We have noticed the remaining pixels. Since it does not interfere with the operation, we will correct it on the next firmware release.

As for 1/3 stops, we have discussed it, however, I do not know where it currently stands. There is a lot of computing that goes on beyond just adding the text.

I also detected another bug.

If you take the micro SD card out of the cybercommander while your einsteins are operational and you reinsert the micro sd card into the cybercommander, the einsteins will automatically flash, make a slight fizzle sound like the internal fan is having a seizure, and then shut off.

For the Einstein's firmware version 26, (i'm not sure if it just applies to firmware 26) but when you have the einsteins attached to a power strip/plugged into a wall and you unplug them, the einsteins will flash and then shut off. It could be a safety measure to discharge the capacitors, however this is unusual as I've never seen a strobe discharge when cutting off the power.

These issues are normal. Any time a processor shuts down, it will trigger. This manifests itself as a trigger signal in CC and an actual pop from E640. Reinstalling the card hot is typically not recommended in any device; and in the case of CC, will reboot the unit, thus causing the light to fire. The sound you hear is actually the light firing (or attempting to fire) multiple pops very rapidly. Sounds disconcerting, but is not harmful. Engineering is looking into ways of mitigating or eliminating this phenomenon.

Hey Paul!

How about you guys support cards bigger than 2GB? It's getting real hard to find cards that size!!

Thanks!
