I am a big customer of Alien Bees and a have highly recommended there products to anyone interested in strobe lighting here in Nassau. I noticed that sometimes My receives would not test fire and wrote it off as small because after a few ties it would kick in. They are about 3 years old and now they do not test fire at all so I have use my PC connect cable which I hate. am sure the warranty is up is there any way that I can address this issue or is it time to just buy new ones.

First, will they fire from the test buttons of the recievers? Will they fire from the test button of the transmitter? If not, will the recievers blink red when the transmitter is triggered? Does the LED of the transmitter blink when triggered via the test button? Does the LED of the transmitter blink when triggered via the shutter release?
