I see strobist has posted a RAVE of the Mini VAga I have one and love it I hope they have plenty in stock!!

I like mine so much I had to purchase another one. I do allot of photography on location and I have been in places where there are no AC outlets around, or using an AC outlet would not be appropriate. I tried several AC/DC power sources including Photogenic Studio Max III, and Norman 200C /400B , none of those give me the amount of pops that the Mini Vagabond does. I get about 150 full power 320WS flashes with the Photogenic set-up and about 300 200WS full power flashes with the Normans. The Vagabond Minis give me 800 full power pops with the AB800 rated at 320WS. So far, I have not had to use my flash on location for that long, but it is good to know that I don't have to worry about running out of juice during the middle of a shoot. I skipped on the original Vagabond, because I have a bad back and could not see myself dragging that thing around, so I'm glad P. Buff listened to people like me and made something much smaller and lighter.
