Post subject: | Einstein Modeling Lamp issues - bug or user error ? |
Hi, when I shoot with the portable power pack, I want to shut the modeling lamp OFF, however, I go through the menu and do so, but as soon as I trigger the strobe using a pocket wizard the lamp comes back on.... same level as the strobe output. Both units I have do the same thing. I **really** need to make sure the modeling lamps stay off in our environment.. please advise ! I looked through the manual, am I missing something ?? Camera set in Manual mode, 200 ISO, 1/125 sec, f/4 Pocket Wizard MiniTT and Buff/PW add-on .... all have the latest firmware. Thanks! |

There is a model lamp control option that needs to be unchecked in the trigger's utility screen. Beyond that, you will need to check with pocket wizard. |

Great thanks, I found it - in the menu for the TT1 as you said, unchecked modeling lamp tracking and no more ! Thanks for the fast response! |
