My CyberSync Plus Receivers stop working, and the LED turns red, when I plug the power cord into different outlets in my home. I've never had power issues with any other equipment plugged in to the same outlets. Any ideas? Thanks, Steve |

Just to clarify, Is this the "dump" LED on the light, or the LED on the reciever? If on the reciever, when does the LED turn red? Immediately? When you try to trigger them? Do they turn red and stay red, or just blink red? |

Immediately. I'm not near the unit at this time but I think the light stays solid red. |

Sorry, I edited my post shortly after I posted, which you probably were responding to when I did so. Anyway, which LED is red? The dump light on the flash or the LED on teh reciever? |

AH! Ok, that is not entirely abnormal. That is a settings issue. Basically, the reciever has not recieved commands to pass along to the lights. This is especially true for initial set ups. Or, it has passed a command along that tells the lights to go to a more-or-less standby state. -check that all channels and frequencies are dialed in correctly -go through the Open Memory (Studio) procedures -Specify your lights Once (or if already) done, take a look at your main (default) flash screen on the Cyber Commander. For each light, you should have a white dash under the corresponding channel. The white matches the text in the lower corners of the screen. Gray dashes, which match the lines in the graph, indicate the lights are set to standby. If the dashes are white, and the lights are spec'd, then there should be a blue vertical bar in that channel. If you are only getting a gray outline, select that channel and press up on the left joystick to increase power. Once you start seeing blue, then the dump light should disappear. If you see all the above, as described, and the dump light is still red, try pressing up on the right joystick and test again. If no joy, go over to ALL and test fire there. If you have additional questions about this, we can continue here, but you are also welcome to call us. A live phone chat is often quicker and clearer in setting this up. Also, a photo of the CC screen can say more than 1,000 words. |

The odd thing is everything functions normally before I move it to the other room. The only thing that changes is where I plug the power cord into the wall. I'll give this a shot when I get home and then call you tomorrow if it doesn't work out. I'll take pictures too. Thanks for your help, Steve |
