I was wondering if an E640 can be operated in positions other than its normal orientation. For instance, can it be hung upside down? Or on its side? I know electrons don't care, but are there any cooling issues or maybe fan issues if doing that? |

The major photo suppliers sell pre-made cables - usually just some wire cable with a loot on each end and a carabiner . Some common DIY options are heavy weight fishing line (50# test) or rubber-coated cable from a home improvement center. The line is often run through the umbrella holder but you can come up with other ways to connect the line if you want to use an umbrealla too. |

Great news on the orientation fact. Color me happy. There is an existing thread on safety cables... viewtopic.php?f=8&t=1584 Might be best to not duplicate those discussions here. |
