First let me say alien bees are awesome. I am having a blast using them, indoors and out.

I've had some people ask me how I do my lighting and I usually use the psd file this gentleman created for generating a basic diagram. http://www.kevinkertz.com/

However, I'm looking for something a little more Alien Bees specific. Do you guys have anything like this that covers all your lights and gear? Including the Mini Vs?

Thanks for any info.

boom! Lights are lights. understanding how to measure light output with a light meter will get you the same results if you used XYZ brand to a degree.

That's a nifty app, but it's still not what I am looking for. The mobile version is cool and could come in handy in the field, but there are still missing components. Thanks for the link though. Suppose I'll just create the missing objects myself and stick with a psd file.

And yes...lights are lights, cameras are cameras, and lenses are lenses...knowing how to use any of these correctly will get you similar results. ;]

I did not ask about light metering, but thank you for the input.

To answer the original question; no, we do not have an app such as this.
