The search feature on this site seems broken or is just really bad. Everytime I search for something I always seem to get the message that the word is to common and can't be searched for.

What are some of your search queries you've been trying? I have noticed that the search ability is not Google quality.

"dome" and "cybersync" are the first ones that come to my mind.

Google has a slightly larger budget than we do. This stuff takes a lot of programming for one webmaster.

They're talking about the phpBB forum I believe, it looks like common key words are ignored to leash server resources. I'd suggest throttling in the forums rather than a blanket solution (or there's a few other things you can do that are pretty painless). In this way you have a threshold of database queries and the site automatically flexes it's restrictions when busy and relaxes when not.

I'd be more than happy to assist or contribute to a solution in some way.

I do find that searching on these forums are better done manually than via the search function in it's current state, it's painfully restrictive at this time in my opinion (and in assisting in other forums).
