Hi
I purchased a Cyber Commander with 4 CSRB+s and have set it up for my lights, 2 WL 1600s and 2 WL 3200s, which I am using for product photography ATM. Got them set up and working with no problems...actually was much easier than I anticipated. The setup I'm using has all the lights set at 1/4 power for this project.

What I'd like to do is have a setup where they are all on full power. So my question is, can I just load the existing setup (which is saved on the card) and then change the settings in the light settings and spec lights menus (after pushing in the power buttons in the back of all the lights to full power of course)and save to a different location on the card... or do I have to start from scratch, doing the 'open all from studio' routine and set up each light again?

Sorry if this has already been addressed on the forum..if so, I was unable to find it.

BTW...I love this device as it saves me a lot of time fooling with the light settings. My compliments to Paul for his hard work and innovations.

Thanks

You are correct, you can simply respecify once the original setup is loaded.

I thought the 1/4 power switch on white lightnings was a switch that physically switched capacitor banks? Can the CC really throw this switch remotely? Would be very useful if it could...

No, the OP stated he would need to depress the blue button. His question was whether or not he needed to completely start from scratch. Given the blue button was physically depressed, then the answer is all he needs to do is respecify. The blue button functions cannot be changed via CC.
