I've been using my WL x1600 and x3200 lights with PW Plus II transceivers and I've been getting very unreliable triggering.
The problem HAS to lie within my cable because when I hook my camera directly to the WL with the sync cable, it fires 100% of the time. When I'm using the PW, I can see the light on the transceiver trigger but the WL doesn't fire (this is on very fresh batteries, also verified the charge with my multi-meter).
I'm currently using a 1/4" male/male mono audio cable which I stole from my guitar rack. It's super low impedance wire, and I use a 1/4" to 1/8" adapter. I suspect that the adapter may be the problem, I doubt the cable itself is. It's made to pass low signal over long runs with no loss.
Anyhow, I was looking to get new cables and FlashZebra makes it seem like I need a special cable, which doesn't make sense to me.
Do I need this cable or can I just order the one for the CyberSyncs from here?
