Post subject: | Problem with 2-week old Mini Vagabond battery |
Hi, I used my Mini Vagabond battery with my Eisntein flash yesterday; during the session, I accidently turned on the modeling lamp... Though the flash was set up at about 1/4 power, I think that something happened. The flash turned off and I could not turn it back on with the battery power. The flash works fine when it is plugged in to the wall. So I guess that the problem comes from the battery. I read other posts on the forum, and I think that my battery probably over heated. It's been now 24 hours since the incident occured. When I switch the battery on, all the lights go green (ie the fuse did not blow). But when I plug in the Einstein flash and try to turn it on, nothing happens! Could you help me? what should I do? Thanks you. Xavier |

Double check the fuse. The way the circuit is designed, the fuse will not affect the LED's. If the fuse checks OK, then the unit may need to be swapped or repaired. |

The Fuse is OK. This Battery is still under warranty, (product bought on july 22th 2011, order # 2185-4780-0697). Can you please tell what is the procedure the return it to you. Thanks. |
