Hello, I have a problem. The wind blew the flashstand with the B400 unit, and it hit the ground with the back panel of the flash. The only thing broken seems to be the bottom of the power outlet. (As shown in the picture)

When I turn the unit on, the red button light's up, but the flash doesn't work, it doesn't charge (nor the dump light, nor the green light) and the modeling light doesn't work either.

The problem is that I bought the unit through a friend in the US, so I am not technically a previous customer, cause I am from Europe. Should I send the unit for repair to US, or UK? If I could choose, I like the american customer service much more.

But, maybe you know what could be the problem, and if it might be an easy fix. If so, I think I could open the unit myself and check/fix what's wrong? (Something like broken contact or blown fuse maybe?)

Thanks

The unit will have to be sent in for service, and it would have to come in to the U.S. as that is where it was purchased. I would recommend calling in first for the details on how the process works. We do not recommend self repair, as this will void the warranty.
