Received new Einsteins. Fired the flash for testing approx. 30 times during set-up. Now the LCD panel is lighted and all other functions are working properly but the flash will not test fire. I have restarted, etc. Any ideas except that I got a bad tube?

There's a thermal shut-down feature. If they were very rapid, full/near-full power flashes then the unit may have overheated. You can always let it cool off for a while and then try again. It's also possible that the bulb isn't seated well.

If you want to troubleshoot you could swap flash bulbs between your Einsteins. Don't touch the tubes directly - use a clean cotton cloth to handle them. By swapping them you can tell if the problem is the bulb or the Einstein itself.

If the unit does not start firing after a cooling period, please contact us for warranty service options.

Tried one of the other flash tubes and still didn't work. Contacted PCB and they sent me a new unit within 2 days. Thanks for great service.
