Post subject:  Need help with Cyber Commander bracketing

Hi,

I know all about in-camera, exposure auto-bracketing. What I can't figure out is whether the Cyber Commander can do auto-bracketing of lights. Or how it does bracketing at all. I've read the instruction book and it's not clear to me.

I have the CC and 1 Einstein. I can see the bracketing area. I can see how I can move the exposure up and down. But can I take 3 exposures +/0/-?

Any help, or links to help would be most appreciated.

Thanks
Stan

It is not auto bracketing. With one light it is simply adjusting as needed. The bracketing is more useful when adjusting multiple lights to keep them in ratio. To change the entire light set up prior to CC would require adjusting each light individually in exactly the same manner. With the bracketing function, you can adjust up to 16 lights simultaneously and keep them porportional automatically.

Thanks,

Now I understand it. I think a more accurate title might have been something like "equal adjustment of all lights," rather than "bracketing."

The correct term is bracketing. Same with a camera when you click the aperture up or down to achieve higher and lower exposure versions of a shot. Neither is "auto bracketing", which is merely an automatic version of the same thing.
