Unit is 2 yrs and used rarely. The modeling lamp would not turn-on (track and cycle off). Opened unit and found screw on L bracket between the socket and the circuit board to be loose- tightened with and added lock-washers. Modeling lamp turn on still flaky. Removed circuit board for modeling lamp. Apparent cold solder joint on neutral wire- fixed. Lamp worked! Tested about 20 times, reinserting the bulb on several occasions- worked every time. Next day- turned on unit...failed to turn on and repeatedly failed to turn on. Checked all ICs seated in sockets. Would appreciate a schematic or technical support help me work my way thru this problem. |

The light would have to be sent in for repair. You can send it to our facility in Tennessee if you are in the U.S., or to KHB if you are in Canada. If the unit is under 2yrs, it is still under warranty. Otherwise, it would likely be covered under our $40 diagnostic fee if sent to us. If sent to KHB, you should contact them for pricing. TS |
