I posted this in the firmware post. I updated the einstein with this version and while using the old version of the cybercommander running version 40 with einstein vs 29, the cybercommander can't separate the channels for the 2 strobes. I turn on the strobes with the cybercommander and both turn on remotely. The main screen shows 1 strobe on channel 1 when there are in fact 2. I go into the open memory and use the open studio function The cybercommander only detects 1 strobe and does not detect the 2nd strobe on channel 2. Both strobes are stuck on one channel I tried downgrading the firmware on the einstein to version 26 (i saved the previous einstein version on my computer), but the einstein will not roll back and still shows version 29. I also tried rolling back the firmware on the cybercommander to 36 from 40 but that did not affect anything so I reverted back to version 40 So now i have a headache as both my einsteins are stuck on one channel and have lost the compatibility of controlling them on separate channels. Though both of them are still controllable, just have the same output. I am using the old cybercommander which does not have an antenna. help! edit* I see that you guys addressed the issue where the strobe would discharge if the power suddenly cut off (as in if all the einsteins are connected to a power strip) which I must say thankyou for doing that. That in of itself was worth updating version 26 to version 29. are there any ideas on how i can roll back the firmware on the einstein from 29 to 26? I have a feeling that because i'm using the older cybercommander that the strobe isn't communicating with the remote to create a separate channel for each einstein. I have a shoot coming up this friday. |
