triggered with Radio poppers PXs on the 580 EX 11s and a RP Jr on the Einstein? Will the 580 EX 11 be a problem with the optical trigger on the Einstein or can I just turn that off. Is the only option for controlling the Einstein the unit itself? Has anyone tried this?

The optical slave eye can be disabled via the function button on the light head. I see no reason for this set up to not work. You will not be able to control any power settings on the Einstein, except from the back panel of the light.
